U10's Royals beat Pinewood Pumas (1-0) in the semi-final of the EBYFL tournament and then go onto miss out in a heartbreaking final to Whitegrove Eagles on penalties (3-2) after holding them to a 0-0 draw at full time. - The Royals picked up 3 other Div1 scalps on their way to the final in addition to the ultimate of beating the mighty Div1 champions & cupholders Pinewood Pumas.

Royals take the EBJFL Div2 title in the last game of the season with a nail-biting hard fought 1-0 win over Crusaders Kings. -Bracknell Town who finished runners-up and 2 points behind the royals needed to beat Camberley by 6 clear goals and hope Crusaders got a draw with Ashridge on the last day of the season to grab the title away from Ashridge. 

Thanks to everyone for the wonderful support at Cantley on 28th April and indeed throughout the season!!

Royals have secured promotion to Div1 (assuming 2 teams go up) and now need to beat Crusaders in their last game of the season to win the Division outright.

19/3/07

Royals go 5 points clear after thrilling 2-1 victory over nearest rivals Bracknell Town Lions.

With 4 League games still to play Royals need 8 points required to guarantee Div2 title.

All players have now been talked through their SWOT analysis with the manager to emphasize their individual strengths & opportunities as well as discussing areas to work on during matches & training.

Royals go 2 points clear at the top of Div 2 after other results go in favour of Ashridge.

Top of the table clash though this week 17th March as the Royals host Bracknell town Lions in a bid to reverse the result from the thriller before xmas."  KO at Cantley 9.15 Lets all get behind the royals for the "big One!"

Royals return to the top of Div2 of the EBJL by way of goal difference after an absolute thriller over at Maidenhead. Royals still have 6 games to play including Bracknell Town Lions (17th March) and also Sandhurst (date TBA).

Dates for diaires: 31st March -BCavs Tournament (2 teams of 8 by invitation only),  FC Bracknell Tournament (Sunday May Bank Holiday availability required), presentation evening 13th May -Blue Mountain, league tournament 19th May,  Woodley Saints 16/17 June and Ashridge Tournament 23/24 June.

Royals go into the Christmas break top of Div2. The Royals have been beaten just the once so far in the league and have the best defensive record in the division.

The Xmas party for the U10 is all set for Thursday 21st Dec - any queries contact Maureen.

Next Game: The U10 age group have a friendly round robin mini tournament at Binfield on Saturday 30th December.

First training session of the new year will be Friday 5th Jan at Wellington College 5.45pm.

Royals beaten for first time in league by Bracknell Town after 9 games but remain level on points with top side Sandhurst and have a game in hand. 

Friendly arranged v Finch A on 9th Dec with another possible friendly or Ashridge fun day on 30th December.

Availability for the 30th to be provided to manager ASAP.

Xmas party at Hollywood Bowl booked for Thursday 21st December -Money & food choices to Helen H or Maureen ASAP.

Training starts under lights at Wellington College 6-7pm on Friday 13th October.

Royals make an early exit from the cup after a valiant display against high flying Div1 debutants (Hicks League champions) to lose just 1-0.

In div2 after 3 games the Royals are now the only side with a 100% record.

Royals reach semi-finals (for the first time) in the Crusaders Tournament!
Having put out the hosts in the quarter-finals after a thrilling penalty shoot-out (another first) the Ashridge team continued to play great football and took the Division 1 Ascot team to extra -time playing into a gale force wind to lose by just the one goal as the legs started to get tired.

Div2 League campaign starts against Sandhurst on Sat 9th September.

Training will now be revert back to Fridays at Keephatch Park whilst the light holds. ie during September.
