18/12/07

12/3/08

27/9/07 The Royals made a great (if slightly late) start to the season to become only the second team alongside Whitegrove to beat the Pinewood Pumas in a full league game in the last 3 years.

Training under lights starts at Wellington College from October 19th -6-7pm through until 21 Dec.& will start up again on 4th Jan.

Lets hope for a thoroughly enjoyable season in Div1

12/11/07 Royals make it through to the Quarter finals of the Cup after crushing Crowthorne 6-1.
The prospect of a Div2 opposition awaits one of the 6 Div1 sides remaining in the cup and the Royals will be welcoming Ascot Royals to fortress Cantley on the 8th Dec.

First week of November and everyone of the Royals outfield players have now got on the score sheet showing what great all-round ability the team have. The team (including the Ascot result) would be equal 6th place with the Pinewood Pumas which is just about on track with the target for the xmas break.

If any boys in the U11 age group are interested in playing football for Ashridge Park FC (particularly thinking ahead to next season when moving upto 11-aside format) then please contact the manager Gary Phelps by email or by phone on 0118 977 1603.

18/12/07 "Gallant Royals lose 2-1 to Ascot (the only unbeaten side in Div1) in the Quarter-Finals of the Cup.

A Magnificent match in wickedly cold conditions on a very heavy boggy pitch so good luck to Ascot in the semi-finals etc.

A good first half to the season in Div1 would see the Royals placed at 6th equal with the Pinewood Pumas (if we include our 4-2 win over Ascot Racing from the opening day of the season.) -Top Half of the table ..just about achieved.

Well Done to the all the boys !: - Dom, Sean, Will F, Mark, Stephen, Matt, Will C, Louis and Eoghain

Enjoy the xmas break everyone -first training starts back up on the 4th Jan.

Happy Xmas - Stay safe (and fit) for the new year!

12/3/08 Aidan joins the Royals team as of the 1st March from the Park team to provide additional defensive options for the Royals in their last 9 league games and to provide some extra cover for the increasing number of injuries being endured during this long 7-aside season.

Last training at WC on 14th March -training reverts to grass from the Easter weekend.
